Non-Volatile Chemicals

You know it isn't 'good' for you. It doesn't take a genius to tell you that. But until now, you didn't know what to call it and you didn't know you could live with out it. But, you can. Stop spraying pesticide throughout your property.

A volatile compound is defined as a chemical that transitions to a gas and can adversly affect the environment and human health.

Environmental Coalition Incorporated utilizes non-volatile chemicals on the interior of every building it services. It does NOT utilize sprays. You will never see one of our highly trained, certified applicators walking throughout your property with a spray can in tow. Why?

Volatile organic chemicals (known as in the pest control industry as ‘sprays’) emit off-gasses. As the liquid from the pesticide evaporates, a solid toxic residue is left behind. That residue produces an off-gas that either repels or kills on contact. The minute off-gasses commingle with indoor air and because air handlers do not separate gas from air, the toxins are then redistributed throughout interior environs.

The same principle can be demonstrated by discharging a can of Raid ® in an office. Within minutes, the entire office smells of the pesticide substance. But wait, you say! I do not ever smell the pesticides my technician applies to my office. You would be correct. You do not smell them because they are fragrance-free. However, do not confuse a no-odor pesticide with a non-volatile one. Cyanide does not have an odor, but the dangerous effects on human kind are all too evident.
